Artist’s Process: Painted entirely in Procreate on a 13″ iPad Pro M5 with Apple Pencil Pro, through layered digital brushwork across skin, fabric, and decorative detail. The two-figure composition required careful value management — the bride’s white gown against the groom’s dark suit, unified under one light source. The gold date inscription is a signature element of every wedding commission, hand-lettered as a permanent part of the portrait. The botanical green background echoes the groom’s tie, and the gold frame border gives the piece its heirloom quality.

Challenge: The bride’s voluminous puff sleeves are sheer, with her arms visible beneath the fabric. Maintaining the sleeve’s dimensional form while preserving that transparency required watercolor-style washes on a layer above the arms, merged into the final painting with opacity adjustments to balance structure against see-through fabric.
